FORMER GoveArnor of Abia State has dropped another bombshell in the faraway United states that Nigeria's President Muhammadu Buhari does not forgive when offended.
He made this stunning revelation while delivering a speech at the US war college in Washington DC, USA. The former Abia State governor called on the president of Nigeria to forgive whoever offended him in the spirit of national reconciliation and also called on those who feel Buhari has offended them in any way to forgive him.
He decried the division in the country which has eaten deep into the social fabric of Nigeria and urged Nigerians to live in peace with one another. Apparently making implicit reference to the agitation in the southeast which led to the arrest and detention of Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, (IPOB), he described as youth restiveness and urged the president for forgiveness and also called on those who feel aggrieved to forgive the president adding that the issue of youth restiveness is one to be tackled very quickly.
He said: ''There are insinuations that the president is unforgiving. I call on him to forgive his enemies and vice versa. Nigeria is our own and if there are people that have offended the president, the president should forgive them. Likewise those that feel the president has offended them.''
