Nigerian woman based in US,Temitope Adebamiro, 36, of Red Lion, Delaware, U.S, has pleaded guilty in the killing of her husband, who she claimed abused and

She is facing four to 50 years in prison when she is sentenced in December. She allegedly stabbed her husband, Adeyinka Adebamiro, 37, a pharmacist, in the couple’s home in April 2015. .
According to police and court documents, the two had been married for more than 10 years, during which time she told investigators that he had physically abused her, even while pregnant with their two children.
She also told investigators her husband had been cheating on her with various women, including her own sister and the nanny’s daughter. Temitope did not immediately admit to police that she killed her husband, but instead suggested her husband stabbed himself and changed her story several times.
When police told Temitope that his death was not a suicide, the woman “began nodding her head in agreement,” according to court documents. She was charged with first-degree murder. After her arrest, Sahara Reporters interviewed her sister, who claimed Temitope was the one cheating on her husband and said she was involved with black magic.
